Is camping allowed in the park?
Yes, camping is allowed only in Camping Zănoaga, the only authorized camping place in Bucegi Mountains. Please make sure to follow all park rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
What should I do if I encounter wildlife in the park?
If you encounter wildlife, maintain a safe distance and do not attempt to feed or approach the animals. Report any unusual wildlife behavior to park staff immediately. For specific bear safety information please click on Bear Safety button in the upper menu.
What is the best time of year to visit the park?
The Bucegi Mountains are spectacular all year round, but the best time to visit depends on your interests. Usually the snow melts completely in June, the alpine meadows begin to green up and the first flowers (e.g. rhododendron) appear.
